Dr. Farouk Daghistani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of ِArchitecture & Planning (FAP), King Abdulaziz University (KAU). He obtained a PhD degree in urban and regional sciences from Texas A&M University in 2007. He is a textbook author and a registered inventor in the USPTO. He occupied many leadership positions including Deputy Director of the Centre of Excellence in Environmental Studies in KAU, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research in FAP and Vice Dean of FAP. His research interest is focused on sustainable development and public participation in urban and rural decision making.
